Kristen spent her first three years at Piedmont College, where she played on the women’s soccer team, before transferring to the University of Georgia. She graduated from UGA in December 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics.

After graduation, Kristen worked as the scheduler for an aerospace manufacturing company in Athens for several years. She then decided to follow her passion and began law school part-time at Georgia State University College of Law while she continued to work. While in law school, she interned with Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation, helping low-income clients with housing issues, and the Georgia Public Defender Appellate Division. Kristen joined our firm as a law clerk in her final year of law school, assisting our attorneys with litigated and uncontested probate matters. She graduated in December 2021 with Pro Bono and Public Service Distinction and is now a full-time attorney with our firm.
